•   Applicants meeting all the following four criteria are eligible to apply.

• The applicants must have passed 12th (or equivalent) with a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD).

• The applications must have compulsorily studied Mathematics and English at class 12th (or equivalent) level.

• The applicants must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2024 exam and obtained a Final NTA SCORE for Paper 1 (B.E. / B.Tech.).

• The Final NTA SCORE for JEE (Main) 2024 Paper 1 of the applicant must be equal to or higher than the "Category-wise Cut-off NTA Score for writing JEE (Advanced) - 2024 for Paper 1 (B.E / B.Tech.)" mentioned in the JEE (Main) 2024 Paper 1 Scorecard 2024.

• The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the NTA score obtained by them in the JEE (Main) Examination (Paper 1) 2024.

• A certain number of applicants will be called for the next step of the admission process.

• The shortlisted applicants will only be sent invitation letters via email for the personal interview.

• This step involves a mandatory personal interview (PI) of the shortlisted applicants. A merit list will be prepared based on the Aggregated Score calculated using the weightage as follows:

• The selected applicants will be offered provisional admission to the IMBA Program as per the merit list.

• There are 40 seats for IMBA programme of batch 2024-29 at IIT Mandi.

• Applications incomplete in any manner shall be summarily rejected.

• During the admission process or during the program, if it is found that the candidate has misrepresented, falsified, or hidden relevant information, his / her candidature/admission will be rejected / cancelled.

• The admission offers will be made from the merit list in the merit order based on Aggregated Score, following the Govt. of India reservation norms.

• A limited number of candidates will be kept on the waitlist. Offers to the candidates on the waitlist will depend upon the number of candidates not accepting the offers.

• A candidate receiving the admission offer to IMBA program from IIT Mandi must accept the offer and deposit the required institute fee by the stipulated date. Failing to deposit the admission fee within the stipulated date will lead to forfeiting of seat and the next candidate on the waiting list will be offered the admission.

• The candidate who has accepted the offer and paid the fee must physically report at the institute on the reporting date to complete the admission process. Failing to physically report at the institute on the reporting date will lead to forfeiting of seat.

• The candidates' request for withdrawal from the programme will be dealt with as per the institute norms.

• IIT Mandi reserves the right to change, modify, or adopt any new admission policy and process to comply with Government / Judicial requirements or that it deems necessary and which best suits its purpose of identifying and admitting the most appropriate candidates to the IMBA programme.

• All disputes would be subject to the jurisdiction of Mandi Courts only.
