Dr. Dechen did her PhD in Marketing from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow where her research focused on understanding e-commerce adoption for Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) producers. Her academic interests include Digital Marketing, Sales and Distribution, Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) markets. She has published in reputed journals such as Information Technology for Development and Worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Themes, and has presented work at national and international conferences. Before joining academia, Dr. Dechen accumulated valuable industry experience. She worked at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance as Associate Regional Manager handling sales and distribution for her region.
